We are currently looking for a talented Microsoft 365 Engineer (Freelance) to join our dynamic team and work on high-impact projects for one of our major clients.
Position Overview
- Status: Freelance
- Location: Brussels, Belgium (Hybrid model: 2-3 days of remote work per week)
Your Responsibilities
As a Microsoft 365 Engineer, your daily missions will include:
- Administering, configuring, and optimizing the Microsoft 365 environment (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive).
- Managing identities and access through Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including Conditional Access, MFA, and SSO.
- Implementing and maintaining device and application management with Microsoft Intune.
- Ensuring compliance and data protection using Microsoft Purview (DLP, retention policies, sensitivity labels).
- Automating administrative tasks with PowerShell and Microsoft Graph.
- Supporting migration projects (on-premises to cloud, tenant-to-tenant).
- Troubleshooting level 2/3 incidents and producing clear technical documentation.
- (For Senior profiles) Advising on M365 governance, security architecture, and adoption strategy.
Profile & Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online).
- Solid knowledge of Entra ID, Intune, and Microsoft Defender for Office 365 / Endpoint.
- Good scripting skills in PowerShell; experience with Microsoft Graph API is a plus.
- Understanding of hybrid environments (Active Directory, Entra Connect).
- Microsoft certifications (MS-102, MD-102, SC-300) are a strong asset.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, a service-oriented mindset, and a strong team spirit.
- Language: Professional fluency in English. Knowledge of French or Dutch is a plus.
