Manager - Count Room

Job Responsibilities:
- Ensures the collection of slot bill validators (BVs) and the count of table games drop and BV drop is scheduled and performed in an efficient and timely manner
- Coordinates with departments (cage, security, surveillance, accounting, slots) to ensure that communication and service levels are maintained at a high level
- Transfers Table games and slot drop funds to the cage in an efficient and timely manner
- Ensure that soft count area and equipment is maintained in a neat, organized, serviceable and professional manner
- Performs routine cleaning and preventive maintenance on equipment
- Hires, trains, develops, coaches and supervises the count room team members
- Displays courteous and professional image to associated departments and guests
- Ensure full compliance with all MGC regulations
Competencies:
- Must have basic mathematical skills, with the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products
- Must be detail oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to deal with people in a manner that shows sensitivity, tact and professionalism
