WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Warehouse/Customer Service Associate, you will provide an exceptional customer experience while supporting the day-to-day operations of our warehouse and lumberyard. You will assist with inventory management, order fulfillment, product loading, and customer pickups, ensuring materials are accurately prepared and delivered on time. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, staying active, and contributing to a team-oriented environment where service, safety, and quality are top priorities.

THE NITTY GRITTY

- Greet customers, contractors, and vendors with a friendly, professional attitude and provide exceptional serve

- Assist customers with product selection, order placement, order pickup, and general inquiries

- Receive, inspect, unload, and accurately stock incoming inventory

- Pick, stage, and load customer orders safely and efficiently

- Verify order accuracy and product condition before shipment or customer pickup

- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and effectively

- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock replenishment, and organization of warehouse materials

- Keep the warehouse, yard, and customer facing areas clean, organized, and safe

- Assist in resolving customer concerns and contribute to a positive customer experience

WHAT YOU NEED

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or GED, required

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, required

- Previous warehouse, retail, customer service experience, preferred

- Knowledge of lumber, millwork, hardware, building materials, or construction productions, preferred

- Forklift experience or willingness to become forklift certified, preferred

- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn inventory and order management systems

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position operates in a fast-paced warehouse, lumberyard, and customer service environment. Associates regularly interact with customers, contractors, and team members while performing both indoor and outdoor work.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting throughout the workday. Associates must be able to safely lift and carry materials up to 50 pounds and work both indoors and outdoors while assisting customers and supporting warehouse operations.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some Saturday work will also be required during peak season (May - October).
