ABOUT THE ROLE
Join a fintech AI team building customer-facing products that automate financial crime compliance for banks and fintechs. You will develop AI-powered workflows and product experiences that help compliance teams review cases more efficiently while keeping people involved in important decisions.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own product features from customer discovery and requirements through deployment and iteration.
- Build AI workflows that coordinate tools and data services for AML, sanctions, and KYC reviews.
- Develop case management, reporting, analytics, and workflow configuration interfaces.
- Work with enterprise customers to understand their needs and turn complex challenges into practical solutions.
- Build and maintain production-grade backend services, APIs, databases, and frontend applications.
- Create new product experiences, scale existing products, and support enterprise implementations.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Three to six years of product software engineering experience, with a track record of building products from the ground up for real customers.
- Full-stack experience with React and Node.js using TypeScript or Python.
- Experience shipping production AI or LLM features, such as agents or LLM-powered workflows, used by customers.
- Experience building APIs and working with databases, ideally including PostgreSQL or Supabase.
- Strong product judgment, customer communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong engineering fundamentals and experience in a high-growth, talent-dense startup environment.
- Financial services or other regulated-industry experience, and familiarity with workflow orchestration frameworks, are helpful.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary: $200,000 to $270,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
LOCATION
Hybrid role based in San Francisco, California.
