Current Product Engineer-Electrical

As a Product Engineer - Electrical at Aptiv, you will join our Manufacturing Engineering team, supporting the development, launch, and continuous improvement of electronic products. You will help ensure product quality, functionality, and compliance with customer requirements throughout the manufacturing process. Working closely with local and international engineering teams, you will contribute to resolving technical challenges, implementing product changes, and improving manufacturing performance. Your expertise will support Aptiv's commitment to delivering reliable and innovative mobility solutions.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensure products are delivered with the correct software versions, proper programming, and validated functionality.
- Support new product launches, coordinating engineering activities to ensure successful implementation into manufacturing.
- Conduct product and component failure analysis, supporting First Time Quality (FTQ) improvements and corrective actions.
- Investigate and support the resolution of 0 km and warranty-related product issues.
- Review and interpret customer requirements and technical specifications to ensure product compliance and performance.
- Collaborate with local and global Aptiv engineering teams to resolve technical challenges and support manufacturing operations.
- Support engineering change requests and change implementation activities, ensuring effective integration into production processes.
Your Background
- Master's degree or equivalent pre-Bologna qualification in Electronic Engineering or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of electronic technologies, including electronic and RF circuits.
- Knowledge of software development and programming, particularly in relation to electronic products.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and its application to engineering and quality improvement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to technical challenges.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across international teams.
- Good written and spoken English, with willingness to travel when required.
