RequirementsWe are looking for a candidate with 10+ years of geotechnical engineering experience who can provide strong technical and project management support to the department.

The preferred qualifications include:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.

- 10+ years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience.

- Florida PE license.

- Strong experience with geotechnical investigations, engineering analyses, foundation recommendations, and preparation/review of geotechnical reports.

- Experience managing multiple geotechnical projects, including scope, schedule, budget, field investigations, and deliverables.

- Familiarity with Florida subsurface conditions and FDOT and other Florida agency requirements is preferred.

- Strong technical writing, QA/QC, and problem-solving capabilities.

- Ability to coordinate directly with clients, contractors, field staff, laboratories, and other engineering disciplines.

- Ability to mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and staff.

- Strong communication and client management skills.
