Senior Manager - Sales Development

Tracksuit · New York, United States · hybrid

USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year

Tracksuit exists to help marketers prove their brand building is working. We give teams the data they need to make smarter decisions, convince stakeholders, defend budgets, and track their progress. The brand tracking industry is dominated by 100-page reports, static data and big price-tags. We're doing things differently by being built for the modern marketer: always-on, accessible, and approachable.

We're now tracking more than 1,000 brands across 25 countries globally. With offices in Auckland, Sydney, London and New York City, we're scaling fast with a brilliant team of collaborative and ambitious humans. Our culture is defined by "high care, high performance". We strive to be the best and look after each other while we do it.

You’ve run a team. Now build the function.

Our Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) start conversations with new customers and book first meetings for our account executives (AEs). They already create most of our outbound pipeline.

As our Senior Manager - Sales Development, you'll take a team of SDRs across New York and London, turn it into one global function, with dedicated investment into 2027 to grow the team according to your vision. You'll own the outbound pipeline number, for both our SDR people and our AI SDRs, and you'll work directly with our Chief Revenue Officer on where we play.

What you'll do

- Lead, coach and develop the SDR team across New York and London, and possibly Asia Pacific.

- Own total outbound pipeline, in total and by region

- Design the SDR plan, covering headcount, hiring, territories, targets and commission

- Build one playbook for how we prospect, qualify and hand over meetings, and run it in every region

- Decide which accounts our AI SDRs cover and which our people cover

- Hire SDRs who go on to become great AEs, and build the path that gets them there

- Get the team using a modern outbound stack well, from Clay to diallers to AI agents

What you'll bring

- At least two years managing an SDR or business development team

- A start as an SDR, or in a similar role, and a promotion into management

- Time at a high-growth scale-up with a strong, modern outbound programme

- A track record of hitting pipeline targets, and of developing people who went on to get promoted

- A home base in New York City, and a willingness to work with a CRO in Auckland

It's a bonus if you've managed people across time zones, built an SDR team from scratch, designed an SDR commission plan, carried a quota, run outbound alongside AI outreach, or sold to marketers or agencies.

What makes this team different

- People and AI, side by side. You'll run human and AI outreach together and decide where each one works best. Our GTM Operations team builds and runs the tools, so your time goes on the people and the plan.

- Your SDRs are our future AEs. Building that path is part of the job, and we want to see your first SDRs promoted within a year.

- Room to run your own show. Your manager is in New Zealand, so you'll set the rhythm in New York and London.

- A clear next step. This role leads to Global Head of Sales Development.

Your first 90 days

- Meet every SDR, AE and regional sales leader, and learn how each region creates pipeline today

- Agree one definition of a qualified meeting with the regional sales leaders

- Set a baseline for each measure you'll be judged on

- Agree with GTM Operations how accounts split between AI and human outreach

- Take over open roles and make your first hires
