Sr. Project Engineer

Danube Properties is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Engineer to join our Projects Onsite department in the UAE. The role involves overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of high‑rise construction projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations, quality standards, and client expectations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong civil engineering background and a proven track record of managing complex high‑rise developments in the UAE market.
- Lead and coordinate all phases of high‑rise construction projects from inception to handover.
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Ensure compliance with UAE building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Supervise on‑site engineering teams, subcontractors, and consultants.
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Facilitate coordination between design, procurement, and construction teams.
- Conduct site inspections and audits to verify workmanship and material quality.
- Manage change orders, variations, and contract administration.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in project execution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related field).
- 10–12 years of experience in high‑rise construction within the UAE.
- Demonstrated experience managing full‑life‑cycle construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of UAE building codes, regulations, and permitting processes.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret complex construction drawings and specifications.
- Hands‑on experience with site safety management and quality control.
- Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
- Professional engineering license (e.g., UAE PE) preferred.
