Solve Electrical Problems. Earn Homeowner Trust.

Bell Brothers is hiring Residential Electrical Service Technicians who combine strong troubleshooting skills with quality workmanship and clear, honest communication.

Whether your background is in residential service or electrical installation, this role is for certified electricians who can independently diagnose common residential electrical problems, complete repairs safely, and help homeowners understand their options. Your assigned work will reflect your demonstrated technical capabilities.

You'll primarily respond to service calls from homeowners experiencing electrical problems, with Electrical Safety Inspections and maintenance appointments assigned as department needs require.

How We Work

At Bell Brothers, the homeowner's immediate concern comes first. You'll investigate the problem, explain your findings in plain language, and recommend solutions based on the electrical system's condition and the homeowner's priorities, not unnecessary sales pressure.

We expect technicians to complete appropriate repairs during the initial appointment whenever practical. When a project requires specialized expertise or exceeds your assigned capabilities, you'll document the findings and coordinate the next steps through our sales or installation process.

Our six-step service process provides a consistent approach to each appointment: Prepare, Greet, Explore, Present, Execute, and Wrap Up.

What You'll Do

- Respond to residential electrical service calls involving failures, troubleshooting, repairs, and homeowner concerns.

- Diagnose problems using a systematic troubleshooting process and appropriate testing equipment.

- Repair, replace, install, and maintain receptacles, switches, breakers, circuits, wiring, lighting, GFCI/AFCI protection, and other residential electrical components within your assigned capabilities.

- Evaluate the immediate problem and related system conditions that may affect safety, reliability, or performance.

- Explain diagnostic findings and present appropriate repair or improvement options in clear, homeowner-friendly language.

- Identify legitimate needs for larger projects or specialized work, document them, and generate qualified leads or coordinate a handoff when appropriate.

- Document diagnostic results, completed work, materials used, photographs, and required job information in ServiceTitan.

- Complete estimates, signatures, payment processing, invoice summaries, forms, and customer communications before closing each appointment.

- Maintain your assigned service vehicle, truck stock, tools, testing equipment, and company-issued equipment.

- Follow applicable electrical codes, company safety procedures, and established service standards.
