Warehouse Counter Support

Brothers Plumbing Heating & Electric · Denver, CO

Compensation: $25-27 an hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00-4:30 pm

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB:

The warehouse counter performs tasks assigned by the warehouse manager which include but are not limited to: activities related to ordering, receiving, storing and distributing materials, equipment, merchandise, supplies and products.

JOB ACTIVITIES:

- Ambassador and spokesperson for the company

- Work as a team with other team members

- Understand and follow all company philosophies, policies and procedures

- Understand and follow written and verbal instructions given

- Represent the company in a professional manner

- Complete required and requested paperwork correctly for the department by due dates given

- Perform related work as assigned

- Attend all required training classes

- Meet company performance standards per performance reviews

- Follow all company safety rules and requirements

- Managing and reconciling inventory

- Maintain proper inventory process documentation

- Maintain accurate inventory counts

- Reports discrepancies to warehouse manager

- Drive company vehicles to supply houses, city buildings, job sites and any other location that many be needed to pick up or deliver material, permits and other items as requested

- Label material and equipment

- Inventory warehouse and technicians’ trucks

- Stock materials in warehouse as requested

- Equipment inventory

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS and REQUIREMENTS:

Experience and Training, Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

- Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent

- Basic math and reading comprehension

- Excellent organization and time-management skills

- Working knowledge of Microsoft office including excel

- Knowledge and understanding of map book utilization

- Be capable of driving the vehicles within the Brothers Plumbing & Heating, Inc. truck fleet

Essential Functions

- The ability to lift 80 pounds regularly.

- The ability to pull 164 lbs. with dolly up flight of stairs.

- The ability to respond quickly to sounds.

- The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.

- The ability to safely climb ladders.

- The ability to work in extreme weather.

Other:

- Required to sign a Confidentiality agreement with the company

- Valid Colorado Driver’s License

- Have and maintain a Motor Vehicle Record in compliance with auto insurance requirements

- Successfully complete all background checks, drug testing and employment screening

- Neatly groomed per dress code policy
