Sales Coordinator (Temp to Hire)

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Coordinate all correspondence of customers, sales representatives, regional managers, sales personnel and associates

ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES

- Contract/order administration of all customer purchase orders, files, certifications and representations, customer portals, change orders

- Act as liaison between the customer and our company, by phone, email, fax, or in person

- Coordinate all correspondence for the respective territories by region

- Responsible for all facets of quotations, application reviews, spec reviews and customer needs

- Provide technical information to customers as required

- Provide updated status of orders, resolve customer issues

- Maintain and update open order reports, bookings reports, etc

- Work with Manufacturer’s Representative groups and their personnel

- This is an Inside Sales position (no cold calling)

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES

EXPERIENCE

- Five to ten years of related experience (or equivalent combination of education, training and experience).

- Experience with Manufacturers’ reps and outside regionals a plus

- Tradeshow coordination experience a plus

EDUCATION

High School Diploma or equivalent.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and to other employees of the organization.

COMPUTER SKILLS: Advanced skills: Ability to navigate and use internet/intranet, cross functional Enterprise Resource Planning software, the MS Office package, and other software programs and packages to their potential to provide a work product fitting to the level of the position. Must be able to perform troubleshooting

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Intermediate Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

REASONING ABILITY: Intermediate Skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

SALARY RANGE

The starting annual base pay for the role is between USD $59,000.00 and $63,000.00. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. The role may also be eligible for variable bonus programs and benefits.
