Location
Skowhegan, ME. We support a flexible, hybrid-friendly work environment while emphasizing meaningful in-person client interaction. Our practice is built around serving seniors and families, so candidates should be comfortable meeting clients face-to-face and maintaining a regular local presence.
Note
Active Maine Bar admission is required. Experience in elder law, estate planning, guardianships, or related legal practice is preferred but not mandatory. We welcome attorneys from law firms, solo practices, and in-house backgrounds who bring transferable legal skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and a genuine interest in serving seniors and families.

Job Description
- Advise individuals and families on elder law, estate planning, and asset protection strategies.
- Help clients develop proactive legal plans and navigate urgent planning needs.
- Draft, review, and manage estate planning documents and related legal matters.
- Assist with guardianships, conservatorships, and associated court proceedings when applicable.
- Build trusted, long-term relationships with clients through personalized guidance and clear communication.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop practical, client-centered legal solutions.
- Manage assigned matters independently while contributing to a supportive team environment.
- Leverage technology and modern practice tools to improve efficiency and client service.
Qualifications
- Active Maine Bar license in good standing.
- Strong legal research, drafting, analytical, and client communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues.
- Comfortable working directly with seniors and families in sensitive situations.
- Technology-focused mindset and willingness to use modern legal practice tools.
- Elder law, estate planning, asset protection, or guardianship experience preferred.
- Attorneys with transferable experience from other practice areas are encouraged to apply.
