Reporting to the VP of Operations, the Talent & Culture Manager is a data-driven role that manages many processes in the full employee life cycle: talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, payroll, benefits, training, and performance management.
main duties and responsibilities
- Lead employee relations investigations into all complaints as they arise.
- Oversee all training activities and assist with compliance initiatives for the organization.
- Support the Siemens partnership by ensuring all training requirements are met and managed via the Learn4U portal.
- Oversee the creation and implementation of various training activities with external partners to develop employees, such as sales, leadership, and negotiation skills training.
- Oversee the assignment of mandatory new hire compliance training in the Paycom Learning and Learn4U systems.
- Supervise the annual performance review process, including building out all review processes in Paycom, training employees and managers, and managing the annual goal creation process.
- Lead the creation of various presentations, such as the quarterly company-wide updates and Board presentations.
- Manage the annual Employee Engagement Survey, ensuring results are summarized and shared with leadership.
- Supervise employee engagement events, such as the annual company picnic, holiday lunches, and Bring Your Child to Work Day, in partnership with the T&C team.
- Partner with the VP of Operations on various projects, including policy creation and the implementation of new practices.
- Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Act as a backup for payroll, benefits, and invoice processes as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Proficiency with, or the ability to quickly learn, the organization’s HRIS (Paycom) and training systems, including Learn4U.
qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required (master’s preferred).
- 3–5+ years of human resources management experience is required.
- Payroll processing experience is required (Paycom knowledge is preferred).
- Knowledge of and experience handling employee relations matters is strongly desired.
- SHRM-CP certification is preferred.
