At Jushi Holdings Inc. ”) (CSE: JUSH) (OTCQX: JUSHF), we are shaping the future of the cannabis industry, the fastest growing jobs sector in the U.S. The Facilities Mechanic is responsible for maintaining and repairing the infrastructure, equipment, utilities, and support systems that enable successful outdoor cultivation operations in Haymarket, Virginia. This role executes preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, inspections, and improvement projects across irrigation systems, pumps, water distribution equipment, agricultural equipment, buildings, site infrastructure, and facility support systems.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Maintain irrigation systems, pumps, valves, filters, manifolds, piping, water distribution infrastructure, and air distribution infrastructure (HVAC).
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on site infrastructure, buildings, fencing, gates, roads, and drainage systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain utility vehicles, small engines, agricultural equipment, and material handling equipment.
- Support electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and facility systems within training and qualification limits.
- Execute work orders and preventative maintenance through the CMMS platform.
- Coordinate on-site scheduling for 3rd-party contractors and vendors.
- Support emergency repairs and after-hours response.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years relevant maintenance experience.
- Experience with pumps, irrigation systems, mini-split HVAC, and mechanical equipment.
- Valid driver license.
- Ability to work outdoors year-round.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Agricultural, nursery, vineyard, golf course, or outdoor cultivation experience.
- OSHA certification.
- Well systems, fertigation, VFDs, or water treatment experience.
- Equipment operation experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Frequent standing, walking, lifting, bending, and climbing.
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
