Location: Mullins, SC$5,000 Sign-On Bonus AvailableJoin McLeod Sports Medicine and make a difference in the health, safety, and performance of student-athletes.McLeod Sports Medicine is seeking a full-time Certified Athletic Trainer to provide comprehensive athletic training services at Mullins High School in Mullins, South Carolina. This position offers the opportunity to work directly with athletes while collaborating with an experienced team of sports medicine professionals dedicated to injury prevention, treatment, rehabilitation, and performance enhancement.Position SummaryThe Certified Athletic Trainer is responsible for providing daily athletic training coverage for practices and competitions, including:- Prevention, evaluation, treatment, and management of athletic injuries
- Practice and game coverage for assigned athletic programs
- Development and implementation of sports performance programs
- Injury documentation and medical record maintenance
- Communication with coaches, physicians, athletes, and families
- Organization and administration of athletic training services
- Participation in outreach services for club, recreational, or collegiate athletic programs as needed
The Athletic Trainer will work under the direction of the Medical Director and as part of McLeod Sports Medicine's team of 25 Athletic Trainers, following established policies and procedures in a collaborative and progressive work environment.About McLeod Sports MedicineMcLeod Sports Medicine operates from a state-of-the-art 25,000-square-foot outpatient rehabilitation facility that provides orthopedic and sports rehabilitation services for individuals with acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Our team is committed to delivering exceptional care while supporting athletes at every level of competition.Work Schedule- Full-Time
- 80 Hours Bi-Weekly

About Mullins High SchoolMullins High School is a public high school serving approximately 550 students in grades 9-12. The school supports 11 sports and 15 athletic teams and competes in Region 10 alongside several area schools. This position provides the opportunity to have a meaningful impact on a growing and competitive athletic program.QualificationsRequired Education & Credentials- Bachelor's degree (B.S. or B.A.) from an accredited institution
- Certification through the Board of Certification (BOC) for Athletic Trainers
- Eligible for Athletic Trainer licensure in the State of South Carolina
- Current CPR and AED certification
