Mental Health Team Member
Fundamentals · Milwaukee, WI
As a Mental Health Team Member, you’ll work directly with youth, providing mental health support, psychoeducation, social-emotional learning, assessments, and individualized support.
At Fundamentals, we believe every young person deserves to feel understood, supported, and given the opportunity to grow.
As a Mental Health Team Member, you’ll work directly with youth, providing mental health support, psychoeducation, social-emotional learning, assessments, and individualized support. You’ll help youth build coping skills, better understand their emotions, navigate challenges, and develop skills they can use in everyday life.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll build relationships with youth while working closely with support staff.
What Makes This Work Different?
Our youth may have a variety of emotional, behavioral, mental health, and developmental needs, and many have experienced challenges that can make traditional environments difficult.
Clinical Support Specialists are part of the team supporting youth throughout their day, not just during scheduled clinical sessions. You may facilitate a social-emotional group, complete a wellness check, support a youth through a difficult moment, consult with direct support staff, or help a young person identify a healthier way to cope.
Schedule & Program Structure
During the school year, the Community Integration program operates Monday–Friday, with Clinical Support Specialist hours typically 11:00 AM–7:00 PM.
During the summer, the program transitions to a full-day schedule, with hours typically 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, Monday–Friday.
