ABOUT THE ROLE
Join a focused machine learning team building vision models that interpret complex documents and prepare structured inputs for language models. You will own models from research through production, supporting real-world enterprise workloads in the AI and document processing space.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Train and deploy models for parsing and interpreting unstructured data.
- Experiment with techniques to improve language model accuracy and build tools to evaluate results.
- Develop data pipelines, measure model performance, and integrate models into the product.
- Work closely with company leadership and customers to shape product direction and engineering strategy.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- At least 4 years of full-time machine learning engineering experience after graduation, with a track record of shipping models to production.
- Experience training, fine-tuning, and evaluating machine learning models for production systems.
- Hands-on experience with OCR and document understanding, plus vision-language models, computer vision, or large language models.
- Proficiency with Python and experience with relevant machine learning tools and frameworks; Streamlit experience is useful.
- Startup experience or a background primarily outside large technology companies.
- A degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, with strong technical foundations.
- Research experience in computer vision, vision-language models, or document understanding is valued.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary: $200,000 to $325,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
