Yardi Support Specialist

As a Yardi Support Specialist at Singh, you will support property-management teams for Multifamily, Commercial, Senior Housing (IL/AL – EHR and eMAR support), JobCost/Construction and Development using Yardi software to manage apartments, residents, leases, rent, accounting, and property operations.

Common duties include:

- User support: Set up user access in the system, help employees troubleshoot Yardi issues, answer “how do I?” questions, and resolve system errors. Continuously monitor and respond to service requests in the company internal user helpdesk system, and deliver high-quality resolutions in a timely matter. Escalation and continuous monitoring of internal user support concerns to Administrator, as necessary.

- Data entry and maintenance: Update resident, lease, property, vendor, and financial information and help maintain data accuracy.

- Lease/property support: Help staff with move-ins, move-outs, renewals, lease changes, charges, deposits, and resident records, specifically in Yardi 7s or the CRM IQ platform.

- Reporting: Develop or request alterations to Yardi standard reports and help users pull operational or financial information.

- Troubleshooting: Investigate system problems, determine whether an issue is caused by user settings, data, configuration, or the software itself, and escalate when necessary.

- Training: Train property managers, leasing staff, accountants, and other employees on Yardi processes. Provide detailed written instruction sheets on more common issues.

- Testing and implementations: Help test system updates, new configurations, integrations, or new Yardi modules. Be available for all preliminary meetings and subsequent trainings.

- Vendor coordination: Work with Yardi's support team to coordinate large-scale solutions for company related issues.

Qualifications/Requirements

· At least 3-5 years experience on Yardi core products and ancillary modules.

· Consistently demonstrate professional, positive, and approachable attitude/demeanor and discretion

· Exercise independent judgment

· Possess good problem-solving skills.

· Ability to handle multiple tasks in an organized and efficient manner.

· Previous work experience with property management software and an understanding of the Microsoft Suite of programs.

· Demonstrate sensitivity in handling confidential information.

· Must be team oriented and clearly communicate ideas to others.

· Property operations background preferred.

· Basic knowledge of accounting/accounting roles.
