Job Summary:
The Offshore Project Manager is responsible for the overall management and successful execution of assigned offshore projects from initiation through completion. This role oversees project planning, scheduling, budgeting, staffing, subcontractor performance, and coordination of multidisciplinary project activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget. The Offshore Project Manager leads project resources, supports engineering and construction coordination, manages client and vendor interactions, and provides regular project reporting while ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and HSEQ requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for project management of assigned Offshore project(s).
- Overall responsibility for project execution, including assigned project resources.
- Develop and issue project execution plans for every project.
- Manage overall project schedule and budget including management reporting.
- Prepare project status reports addressing schedule, budget, staffing, safety, and open issues.
- Monitor sub-contractor quality, cost and schedule performance.
- Manage Project Engineers to review project specifications, standards, drawing reviews, and coordination with vendors and customers.
- Monitor and coordinate engineering site visits, and responses to contractor inquiries.
- Monitor delivery and review of documents, drawings and submittals.
- Attend job site meetings with contractors, consultants and customers to review and monitor progress on activities.
- Initial review of vendor and sub-contractor payment applications, validating project progress against approved schedule of values.
- Evaluate, negotiate, and make recommendations regarding proposed change directives & change orders.
- Oversee the project HSEQ program and ensure procedures are followed.
- Perform related duties, as needed.
