We are seeking a Senior Transportation Project Manager (Illinois PE/SE) to lead a growing transportation practice, oversee high-profile IDOT, Illinois Tollway, and municipal infrastructure projects, and strengthen strategic client relationships throughout the region.

Salary Range: 150,000 To 275,000 Per Year

What You'll Do

- Manage transportation and roadway projects from planning through design and delivery

- Serve as a trusted advisor for clients including IDOT, Illinois Tollway, municipalities, and local agencies

- Lead multidisciplinary project teams

- Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, and quality

- Mentor and develop junior engineers and project staff

- Support proposal development and project pursuits

- Identify opportunities for additional work with existing and new clients

- Collaborate with regional leadership on strategic growth initiatives

Minimum requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering

- Professional Engineer (PE) license

- Illinois Structural Engineering (SE) License

- 15+ years of transportation engineering experience

- Experience managing roadway or transportation infrastructure projects

- Experience working with public-sector transportation clients

- Strong client relationship and communication skills

Technical requirements:

- Professional Engineer (PE) Illinois Structural Engineering SE License

- Adept at digital literacy skills Medium Required

- Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills Medium Required

- Defines structural engineering design projects by identifying short-term and long-range issues, and preparing timelines, cost estimates, and required resources for issue resolution plans.

- Conducts complex calculations relating to foundations and structures, loading, structural response, and connection designs to ensure project specifications are met

- Ensures and supports construction by performing compliance inspections and tests, resolving construction problems related to structural design, and coordinating with construction and production contractors

- Implements processes that help ensure constant organizational compliance with all laws, codes, and regulations that govern structural engineering planning and design operations.
