ABOUT THE ROLE
Join the taxation and wealth planning practice of a national law firm as a client-facing trusts and estates associate. You will advise high-net-worth individuals and families while working closely with an experienced partner and helping grow the practice.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Advise individuals and families on complex estate planning and wealth transfer strategies.
- Draft and review wills, trusts, irrevocable trusts, charitable giving plans, and related documents.
- Counsel trustees and executors on trust and estate administration and fiduciary responsibilities.
- Build direct client relationships and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Five to seven years of trusts and estates law experience, including work advising high-net-worth clients.
- Strong knowledge of gift, estate, and generation-skipping transfer tax rules.
- Experience drafting advanced estate planning documents and advising on trust and estate administration.
- Juris Doctor degree and admission to practice in Georgia, or eligibility to obtain admission.
- Strong academic record, including a law school GPA of at least 3.0.
- Entrepreneurial approach and comfort with direct, client-facing work.
- Stable work history or clear explanations for shorter tenures.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary range: $235,000 to $300,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
LOCATION
Hybrid role based in Atlanta, Georgia, with regular in-office work.
