DevOps Engineer

We're looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and operate a modern cloud-native platform on Microsoft Azure.

🎯 Responsibilities

- Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure.

- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.

- Create reusable Terraform modules and support development, testing, and production environments.

- Deploy and operate Kubernetes platforms, particularly Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

- Manage the Kubernetes cluster lifecycle, including upgrades, monitoring, scaling, security, and availability.

- Support containerized applications and Kubernetes workloads.

- Implement and maintain GitOps workflows using Flux CD.

- Manage application and infrastructure deployments through Git repositories.

- Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

- Create self-service capabilities that help development teams deploy applications more efficiently.

- Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes and platform adoption.

- Automate operational tasks and continuously improve platform reliability.

- Support cloud governance, security, access management, and cost optimization practices.

- Monitor the platform and troubleshoot production incidents.

- Perform root-cause analysis and help prevent recurring issues.

- Contribute to platform standards, technical documentation, and engineering best practices.

- Work closely with development teams to understand their needs and provide effective tools and processes for deploying and operating applications.

- Help shape and improve a modern cloud platform and positively influence how engineering teams work.

🛠️ Requirements

- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.

- Experience designing and supporting enterprise-scale cloud environments.

- Knowledge of Azure networking, identity management, access control, and security.

- Proven experience using Terraform to create and manage cloud infrastructure.

- Experience managing reusable Terraform modules and multi-environment deployments.

- Understanding of Terraform remote state management and infrastructure lifecycle management.

- Strong practical experience with Kubernetes.

- Experience deploying and supporting workloads on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

- Knowledge of Kubernetes ingress controllers, networking, storage, scaling, and observability.

- Hands-on experience with GitOps principles and Flux CD.

- Experience managing application and infrastructure deployments through Git repositories.

- Strong experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions.

- Experience building and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines.

- Familiarity with branching strategies, pull request workflows, and repository governance.

- Experience monitoring systems, troubleshooting production incidents, and performing root-cause analysis.

- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
