Assists the Clinical Specialist in the technical supervision of a specific section, performs technical procedures, monitors daily operations of the department section, and is responsible for the technical supervision of the section in the absence of the Clinical Specialist.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Graduation from an approved School of Medical Technology.
- Upon hire: California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License; or
- California Clinical Chemist Scientist License; or
- California Clinical Immunohematologist Scientist License; or
- California Clinical Microbiologist Scientist License; or
- California Clinical Toxicologist Scientist License; or
- California Clinical Cytogeneticist Scientist License; or
- California Clinical Genetic Molecular Biologist Scientist License; or
- California Clinical Hematology Scientist License; or
- California Clinical Histocompatibility Scientist License; or
- California Clinical Laboratory Scientist Biochemistry Special License.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience.
