United Recovery & Remarketing (UR2) is looking for a detail-oriented, resourceful Skip Tracer to join our team.

The Role
As a Skip Tracer, you'll conduct research and investigations to locate individuals and vehicles associated with assigned accounts. You'll use skip-tracing technology, databases, public records, and other resources to research information, evaluate leads, and provide accurate findings to our recovery team. This is a role where attention to detail, critical thinking, persistence, and accuracy matter every day. Experience is a plus, but the right mindset matters more.
What You'll Do
- Conduct skip-tracing research using databases, public records, and investigative tools
- Research and analyze information to identify potential locations and leads

Verify information and evaluate the accuracy and reliability of findings

Document research and maintain accurate, organized account records

Communicate findings clearly to recovery agents and management

Manage multiple assignments while meeting established productivity and quality expectations

Work collaboratively with team members to achieve department goals

Follow all applicable compliance requirements, procedures, and company policies

Protect confidential account and customer information

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:15am–5:15pm, on-site. Consistent hours you can count on.
This is an early-career opportunity, and previous skip-tracing experience is not required. We provide training on our systems, tools, and processes.
We're looking for candidates who have:

A high school diploma or equivalent

Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software and systems

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Good written and verbal communication skills

The ability to research information and follow established procedures

Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments

The ability to work independently while also contributing to a team

Dependable attendance and a professional approach to work

The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately

A willingness to learn and accept coaching and feedback
Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit for long periods of time, and walk/stand regularly

Ability to lift up to 15 pounds and perform physical tasks (e.g., stooping, bending, kneeling)
