- Oversee inventory accounting activities, including physical inventory observations, cycle count reviews, inventory valuation, material classifications, and purchase-price variance calculations.
- Analyze cost, margin, productivity, efficiency, and capacity data to identify business trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Support project reviews by validating project costs used for revenue recognition under percentage-of-completion and point-in-time accounting methods.
- Investigate cost-model, inventory, and financial-reporting issues; identify root causes; and recommend practical process or policy improvements.
- Provide cost and margin analysis to support customer quotations, project reviews, product decisions, and leadership discussions.
- Collaborate with accounting, operations, supply chain, engineering, and finance teams on business initiatives and process-improvement projects.
