Part Time Nanny – Concord, MA
A welcoming family in Concord, MA, is seeking an organized, active, and experienced part-time nanny to assist with their two children (ages 9 and 7). One or both parents often work from home in dedicated spaces. The home includes a large, very friendly Labrador Retriever, so candidates must be very comfortable managing a large dog.
Schedule:
- Days: Monday through Friday
- Hours:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 3:30 PM – 6:00 PM
- Wednesday: 12:30 PM – 6:00 PM
- Total: 15.5 hours per week (possibility of adding more hours to assist with household needs)
Family Specifications:
- Care Environment: Home with two school-aged children (ages 9 and 7)
- Pets: 1 dog (large, friendly Labrador Retriever)
- Household: Smoke-free home; parents often working from home
Responsibilities:
- Transportation & Outings: Provide transportation to/from after-school activities, arrange playdates, and lead local outings
- Enrichment & Activities: Facilitate arts and crafts, guide educational activities, and support interests in reading, sports, and crafts
- Snack Preparation: Prepare after-school snacks and prepare snacks for the next school day
- Household Support: Assist with children's laundry and light housekeeping
Requirements:
- Proven nanny experience working with school-aged children
- Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and a clean driving record for transportation tasks
- Comfortable and confident managing a large, friendly dog
Compensation:
- $25-$30 per hour
- Gas reimbursement provided for vehicle usage
