ABOUT THE ROLE
Join a fintech engineering team building an AI-enabled platform for mortgage servicing. You will help develop reliable backend systems and deliver product features that support complex financial workflows.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own software features from design through implementation and production delivery.
- Build and scale backend systems supporting high-volume mortgage transactions.
- Use AI coding tools in your development workflow while reviewing and validating generated code.
- Design infrastructure that addresses complex federal, state, and agency regulations.
- Collaborate with product and platform or infrastructure teams, depending on team placement.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Three to ten years of backend-leaning software engineering experience, with a progression appropriate to your experience.
- Strong data structures, algorithms, and computer science fundamentals, including the ability to code solutions without AI assistance.
- Experience designing large-scale distributed systems and building products at high-growth software companies.
- Proficiency with AI coding tools such as Copilot or Cursor in daily development.
- Experience with Python, React, Docker, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud Platform.
- A computer science degree or equivalent strong computer science foundation.
- Experience in fintech or mortgage servicing is relevant.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary: $210,000 to $300,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
LOCATION
Remote within the United States, with San Francisco as the primary location.
