Senior Manager, Operations EHS
The Role
The purpose of this role is to support the STACK Critical Operations team, reporting to the Snr. Director EHS, EMEA and coordinating with all Regional EHS Manager and Directors as necessary. The role supports activities within the operational data centre campus, including retrofit construction works.
The role requires a strategic and driven individual who ensures a consistent EHS approach across the region’s operational portfolio. A strong team-player mindset is essential, with the ambition to grow and the ability to create the conditions for both the organisation and its people to perform and realise their full potential.
The role represents STACK Infrastructure as the Operations voice of EHS in the region, supporting Operations VPs and the wider EHS & Assurance team in meeting legislative obligations in line with applicable statutory regulations and laws.
What You’ll Do
· Be the leader of STACK’s EHS program within the regional Operations portfolio.
· Monitor, observe and support the region to deliver EHS excellence.
· Lead, inspire and enable EHS whilst promoting a psychological and physically safe environment.
· Maintenance and administration of Operations EHS Legal Registers.
· Ensure compliance with all local safety requirements, including guidelines, regulations, licensing, and reporting.
· Provide guidance for incident management and conduct Root Cause Analysis investigations for the region, ensuring client expectations of timescales and accuracy are achieved. Escalating where required and providing briefings to STACK Infrastructure senior management of the investigation process, as well as providing recommendations to prevent further occurrences.
· Work closely with Operations team on High Risk Assessments related to day-to-day and special operations activities.
· Maintain and promote compliance and contribute to the continual improvement of STACK’s management systems.
· Deployment of the EHS annual plan for continued improvement in the Operations region.
· Promote regional EHS meetings & attend all other mandatory meetings, provide actions and close out as necessary.
· Implement a schedule of inspections requirements, benchmarking each Operations facility for continued improvement.
· Provide analysis of regional Operations leading and lagging EHS data and promoting initiative opportunities for further improvement across EMEA.
· Accurate reporting of EHS performance.
· Liaising with external stakeholders including enforcing authorities.
· Coordinate new construction or retrofit activities through interfacing with construction / design teams.
· Prepare and support Operations for handover of new builds to implement EHS excellence.
· Seek improvement opportunities with operational teams in the region.
· Identify EHS competence and training opportunities in the Operations team.
· Work closely with STACK Infrastructure EMEA Environmental & Social Governance (ESG) to drive initiatives.
· Capture and encourage EHS learning / innovations / initiatives to promote excellence across the wider STACK Infrastructure portfolio.
· Support Regional Employee Safety Representatives / AMU discharge their respective duties.
Who We’re Looking For
· Experience in EHS role or similar – e.g. Employe Safety Representative.
· Experience of Data Center operations or in a critical systems environment
· Previous exposure to construction methodology.
· Knowledge of Electrical Safety (Energized Electrical Work, Arc Flash, LOTO etc.).
· Knowledge of regional EHS legislative requirements.
· Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office: Excel, Word & Power Point.
· Self-starter, Negotiation skills, Ability to listen, Leadership qualities, Effective communication, Goal oriented, Able to adapt to quick scenario changes, Ability to remain impartial.
· Problem-solving attitude with a crucial ability to meet deadlines combined with strong planning and organizational skills.
· Excellent reporting skills.
· Ability to manage your own workload and be part of a collaborative team.
· Holds regional or international base level EHS qualification.

La fascia retributiva indicata rappresenta il range previsto per il ruolo. La retribuzione sarà determinata in modo equo e trasparente all'interno di tale fascia, sulla base dell'esperienza professionale, delle competenze e delle qualifiche del candidato.
