Manager, Regional & Field Events
Praxis Precision Medicines, Inc. · United States · remote
Location: This position may be performed remotely, but requires the flexibility and willingness to travel as needed.
The Opportunity
Praxis is hiring a highly organized, proactive Manager, Regional & Field Events to manage our regional meetings across both areas of disease, along with advocacy and patient-family conferences. This multifaceted portfolio requires disciplined tracking, strong attention to detail, and dependable execution across concurrent priorities.
You will manage the day-to-day portfolio from end to end—from sponsorship processing and budget tracking to field support, vendors, materials, and event logistics. Working closely with Field Sales, Field Medical, and Patient Advocacy, you will anticipate needs, keep commitments moving, identify risks early, and ensure teams have what they need when they need it. The right person thrives on complexity, takes ownership of the details, and brings solutions rather than simply surfacing problems.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage the portfolio. Maintain a single reliable source of truth for status, spend, deadlines, and deliverables across regional meetings, sponsorships, and conferences. Use established processes and tools consistently while identifying opportunities to make them better.
- Track budget and performance. Manage day-to-day budget tracking, forecasting, and reconciliation across the regional portfolio. Identify variances early and maintain reporting that helps inform future sponsorship and investment decisions.
- Drive sponsorship and field support. Manage sponsorship registration and processing, including deadlines, payments, deliverables, and confirmation of entitlements. Coordinate field and leadership attendance, materials, giveaways, kits, and regional faculty or speaker logistics.
- Own fulfillment center operations for two brands. With oversight of vendor performance, inventory management, and timely distribution of approved marketing materials. Manage day-to-day execution and ongoing maintenance, including ordering portal updates, material availability, replenishment, and retirement of outdated assets, in partnership with brand teams and key stakeholders.
- Be a reliable partner to the field. Work closely with Field Sales, Field Medical, and Patient Advocacy to anticipate needs, communicate logistics, and ensure materials and information arrive ahead of deadlines. Maintain accurate, accessible regional KOL engagement information.
- Manage vendors and logistics. Coordinate local venue, booth/table-top, and print/signage vendors, establishing clear deliverables and timelines and escalating risks early. Manage shipping, setup, dismantle, and post-meeting reconciliation.
- Stay ahead of the calendar. Manage overlapping registration, artwork, print, shipping, and onsite deadlines across a compressed event calendar. Identify conflicts before they affect execution and provide clear reporting on status, risks, blockers, and decisions needed.
- Operate with a strong compliance mindset. Execute regional sponsorships and HCP-facing programs in partnership with Legal/Compliance and in accordance with applicable requirements, including the PhRMA Code, Sunshine Act/Open Payments, and fair-market-value principles. Engage advocacy organizations and patient-family audiences with appropriate sensitivity and compliance awareness.
Qualifications and Key Success Factors
- 4+ years of experience supporting or managing regional meetings, sponsorships, field-facing events, or similar programs; experience in life sciences, biotech, healthcare, or another regulated environment preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of concurrent commitments without losing track of deadlines, deliverables, or spend.
- Experience tracking event or sponsorship budgets, including forecasting, reconciliation, and identifying variance.
- Experience managing vendors and holding partners accountable for timelines, deliverables, and quality.
- Experience supporting field-facing teams and understanding the importance of getting the right materials and information to people at the right time.
- Strong spreadsheet, tracking, and reporting discipline; able to maintain accurate information that stakeholders can rely on.
- Clear, proactive communicator who works effectively across functions and raises risks early.
- Highly organized and calm under pressure, with the ownership and judgment to solve problems and keep work moving.
- Working knowledge of industry compliance requirements, including the PhRMA Code, Sunshine Act/Open Payments, and fair-market-value principles, is a plus.
- Willingness to travel to designated regional meetings.
- The physical and mental requirements of our roles include but are not limited to regular use of a computer, devices or other office equipment, clear communication, and occasional movement. You'll need comfort with screen work, basic hand coordination, and focus. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these functions.
