Accounts Payable Administrator, St1 Biokraft, Stockholm Build your finance career in a growing Nordic biogas company

Are you early in your finance career, with some hands-on experience in accounting or financial administration? Do you enjoy working with numbers, bringing structure to everyday tasks, and ensuring everything is done accurately?

At St1 Biokraft, we are looking for an Accounts Payable Administrator to join our finance team in Stockholm. This is an opportunity to build your experience in a growing international organization, join a supportive team, learn from experienced colleagues, and gradually take on more responsibility.

Your role – a solid foundation with room to growYou will join our Nordic finance organization, supporting the day-to-day financial operations of our Swedish companies. Your primary focus will be accounts payable, handling supplier invoices accurately and efficiently through registration, coding, posting, payment preparation and follow-up. You will also support reconciliations, month-end close, and other accounting tasks.

But this isn't a role where every day looks exactly the same.

As you become more familiar with our business and processes, you'll have opportunities to contribute to other areas of financial administration, including accounts receivable, bookkeeping, and process improvements.

We are growing, refining our ways of working and introducing new digital tools. You will join us at a stage when some processes are well established, while others are still being improved. We value people who enjoy bringing structure, learning new systems, and making everyday work a little better.

You will work closely with experienced finance colleagues in Sweden and across our Nordic organization, with support and guidance as you settle into the role.

Who are we looking for?We would particularly welcome candidates who have worked in a growing company or gained broad, hands-on experience in the finance function of a small or medium-sized business. Perhaps you have been involved in several parts of the accounting process, supported colleagues across finance functions, or experienced what it means to work in an organization where processes and ways of working are still evolving.

Experience in an industrial, energy or project-based environment would be an additional advantage, particularly if you have gained some understanding of different types of costs, such as operational expenses and capital investments.

What matters most is that you have a solid foundation, enjoy the practical side of finance, and are motivated to keep learning and developing with us.

Ideally, you bring:

- Approximately 1–3 years of relevant experience in accounting, accounts payable, or financial administration, though we are open to different backgrounds.

- A basic understanding of bookkeeping, supplier invoicing, and financial processes.

- Experience with financial or ERP systems and an interest in digital workflows.

- Good communication skills in both Swedish and English.

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, ExFlow, or similar systems is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Experience in an industrial, energy, or project-based business is also valuable, although certainly not essential.

The person behind the experienceFor us, your approach to work is as important as your previous experience.

You enjoy getting things right, paying close attention to detail and bringing order to your daily work. You are comfortable taking responsibility for your tasks and know when to ask questions or involve a colleague.

You don't need to be the loudest in the room or have all the answers. We appreciate people who are thoughtful, dependable and willing to learn.

You are someone who:

- Takes pride in delivering accurate, reliable work.

- Stays organized and keeps a clear head when things get busy.

- Enjoys working with others and is happy to lend a helping hand.

- Is curious about systems, processes, and ways to improve them.

- Wants to develop professionally while building a solid foundation in finance.

Most importantly, you value becoming really good at what you do and contributing to a team where everyone plays an important part.

Why St1 Biokraft?St1 Biokraft is on an ambitious growth path, developing biogas solutions that contribute to a more sustainable energy system. Joining us means being part of a company where things move fast, new opportunities emerge, and you can see how your work contributes to the bigger picture.

Our finance organization is evolving alongside the business. We are strengthening our processes, introducing digital solutions, and building a more connected way of working across the Nordics.

You will join a welcoming, collaborative team where colleagues support one another, share knowledge, and enjoy working together.

We believe that professional development doesn't always mean moving into a completely different role. It can also mean building confidence, deepening your expertise, taking on new responsibilities, and growing with the business.
