The Opportunity!

At Goodwill Industries of Central Florida, as a Territory LP & Safety Manager, you will develop and implement programs to protect the Organization’s assets and improve profitability, including security, loss prevention, and internal control. The position will also coordinate and monitor all functions of the safety, and worker’s compensation programs. Major duties include performing loss prevention investigations, mitigating losses, coordination of SARA (Safety & Risk Ambassadors), providing safety training, investigating accidents, and interpreting safety policies.

A Day in the Life of a Territory LP & Safety Manager!

You will find yourself:

- Minimizing financial losses related to theft, employee dishonesty, vandalism, and shrinkage by developing programs and training to prevent repeat occurrences.

- Maintaining worker’s compensation files and giving weekly feedback to the Director of Risk Management, Loss Prevention & Safety.

- Developing and implementing security programs for employees and customers in order to protect the Organization’s assets and improve profitability.

- Keeping an external focus on shoplifting, vandalism, counterfeiting, robbery, burglary, and store security.

- Communicating effectively and working cooperatively with employees, vendors, and law enforcement personnel.

- Maintaining confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion at all times.

- Collaborating with the GICF Risk Management Project Manager, the worker’s compensation insurance company, and the insurance broker to close claims as quickly as possible.
