Prime Intellect is building the open superintelligence stack: the infrastructure frontier AI labs build internally, made available to every ambitious AI team.
Our platform, Lab, unifies compute, environments, evaluations, secure sandboxes, high-performance training, and deployment into one full-stack system for post-training at frontier scale - from SFT and RL to tool use, agent workflows, and continuously improving production models. We are building open frontier AI: open-source models trained end to end for long-horizon tasks like autonomous research, and the full-stack platform our own research team uses to build them. The next generation of AI companies, enterprises, and research teams do not just need more GPUs. They need the ability to turn their own workflows, tools, data, and feedback loops into superintelligence they own.
Prime Intellect has raised $150M in total funding from Founders Fund, Radical Ventures, NVIDIA, and exceptional AI, infrastructure, and enterprise operators, including Andrej Karpathy, Dwarkesh Patel, and leaders and founders from Ramp, Perplexity, Harvey, Mercor, Zapier, Datadog, Cognition, OpenAI, Thinking Machines, Together AI, SemiAnalysis, LangChain, Browserbase, Cloudflare, Sierra, Databricks, Airbnb, OpenRouter, Standard Intelligence, Fleet, Core Auto, and more. We are looking for people who want to build at the intersection of frontier research, real infrastructure, and go-to-market for a category that does not fully exist yet.
ROLE IMPACT
You’ll build the organization behind that mission. Working directly with the founders, you’ll shape how we develop exceptional people, reward their contributions, and grow teams that can do work few companies have attempted.
This is a chance to build the People function from the ground up as our headcount and business scale rapidly. You’ll set direction and stay close to the work, from a consequential compensation decision to closing a great hire.
To start, hands-on and strategic Talent Acquisition will be a key focus, focused on G&A, growth, and marketing roles, alongside our internal talent team and helping scale that team.
This role is based onsite in our San Francisco office.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Shape our approach to performance, development, and reviews, helping ambitious people do their best work and grow with Prime.
- Partner with the founders, finance, and talent on compensation, equity, leveling, and progression as the company scales.
- Help leaders build their teams, develop managers, and think ahead about organization design and retention.
- Personally source and close G&A, growth, and marketing hires, working alongside our internal talent team and helping scale it. Build relationships with investors and recruiting partners who can bring exceptional people into Prime.
- Lead and scale People Ops as we bring on our first People Operations Coordinator and build out our partnership on onboarding, employee experience, and day-to-day operations.
- Be a trusted partner to employees and leaders, bringing warmth, discretion, and clear judgment to important conversations.
REQUIREMENTS
- You’ve built People teams and organizational foundations from scratch at a startup, then helped them scale through rapid growth. You can point to what you personally built and how it held up.
- You’ve shaped performance and compensation approaches that people understand and leaders actually use.
- You’ve personally sourced and closed strong G&A, growth, or marketing hires, and enjoy staying involved in recruiting.
- You’re comfortable working directly with founders, making thoughtful calls with incomplete information, and turning decisions into action.
- You are deeply excited by our mission: to build open superintelligence and the stack for everyone to build and use it.
