ABOUT THE ROLE
Lead product design for a growing B2B AI communications software company, balancing hands-on product work with team leadership. You will partner closely with product and engineering, shape the experience across multiple product areas, and set a consistent standard across the product, website, and brand.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own design across product, brand, and the design team, remaining hands-on in day-to-day work.
- Design and prototype product experiences, conduct customer interviews, and use insights to guide iteration.
- Partner with product and engineering on three product areas, supporting fast decisions and frequent releases.
- Lead designers working across the website, branding, and product design.
- Build a strong understanding of customer needs through regular conversations with business users.
- Set and maintain design standards and scale design systems across product areas.
- Use analytics and modern AI tools to improve design decisions and speed up workflows.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- At least five years of end-to-end product design experience, with ownership across multiple product areas.
- Strong hands-on skills in Figma, prototyping, and user interviews.
- Design-team leadership experience, or demonstrated readiness to take on team responsibility while staying hands-on.
- Experience building and scaling design systems, with ownership spanning brand, website, and product design.
- An analytics-driven approach to measuring and iterating on design decisions.
- Experience using modern AI tools such as Cursor, v0, or Claude to accelerate design work.
- Native-level German and good professional English.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary: €80,000 to €150,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
LOCATION
On-site in Vienna, Austria.
