Finance Manager
Marqeta · Poland · hybrid
As Finance Manager, you will be accountable for the transition and ongoing delivery of four core process areas from Marqeta’s subsidiary, TransactPay. These areas comprise banking journal entries, account reconciliations, SOX control execution, and customer invoicing/billing.
You’ll have a dual mandate: to firstly deliver the transition stage through building scalable and structured automated solutions that allow the processes to be absorbed and stabilized. Then, you’ll run a steady state where you will lead a small team and be accountable for the accurate, timely, and controlled execution of each process area within agreed service levels. You will operate a reliable, audit-ready control environment with a bias toward standardization and continuous improvement, with support from a team member.
As an integral part of the TransactPay Finance team, you’ll work very closely with colleagues in Gibraltar and Malta to maintain accurate financial records in our regulated businesses, in accordance with IFRS and other local accounting standards, and also with the Marqeta US Controller to ensure alignment with the group consolidation and close cycle, and adherence to the ICFR/SOX framework.
This role can be performed in a hybrid work model (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday onsite) from our Warsaw office. We’d love for you to join us!
