We are currently seeking a Technical Solutions Manager to provide technical leadership across the VCS Rel 8 Branch products including, design and development prioritisation, as well as coordination, integration, verification, and support activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide clear day-to-day technical direction across VCS product, project, integration, verification, release and support activities.

- Act as the principal technical interface between Australian projects, Australian support teams and European product and engineering teams.

- Act as the technical authority for the Australian VCS branch and assigned solutions, resolving ambiguity and approving technical approaches, decisions and deviations within delegated authority.

- Define and maintain the branch technical roadmap and maturity plan, covering reuse, obsolescence, commercial-off-the-shelf dependencies, security impacts, automation opportunities and technical debt.

- Coordinate technical execution across systems, software, integration, test, configuration management, safety, cybersecurity and software assurance disciplines.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

- Relevant qualifications in System Engineering, IT or Software.

- At least five years of systems or software engineering experience, including technical leadership or technical authority in a mission-critical or safety-critical environment.

- Demonstrated capability across requirements analysis, system architecture, interface definition, integration, verification and troubleshooting.

- Experience with engineering lifecycle tools and practices such as Jama, Jira, CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.

- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary work across systems, software, integration, test, configuration management and assurance functions.
