Director of Growth Marketing
Courier Health · New York, New York, United States
Courier Health is on a mission to solve one of the biggest and most meaningful opportunities in healthcare: reinvent how people living with chronic and rare diseases are supported.
We are building the future of patient engagement for life sciences companies. Our software is leveraged by biopharma companies to support patients in their complex journey from diagnosis to initiating and remaining on therapy to achieve optimal health outcomes.
Come Build with Us
We're a NYC-based team that believes culture, craft, and customer obsession go hand in hand. We show up for each other the same way we show up for the people we serve. We're an office-first company that values in-person collaboration 4 days per week because we believe the best work happens when you can collaborate and brainstorm together in the same room. If that sounds like your kind of place, we think you'll love it here.
The Opportunity
Courier Health is at an inflection point. We exist to get patients faster, better access to life-saving therapies, and every program we sign brings that mission to more patients. Growth Marketing determines how many of the right biopharma companies find us, and how quickly they go from first conversation to signed deal. This role owns that.
As Director of Growth Marketing, you'll own online, offline, organic and paidchannels and programs that create and capture demand here, plus the team of four that runs them.
Marketing's's job is to make sure the right pharma companies and contacts know us before Sales ever reaches out or walks in. You'll be responsible for designing and iterate the system that supports that work, so if you've done this well somewhere else in an environment that values creativity and collaboration, this is the role for you!
What You'll Build
A Growth Marketing team of 4 across demand generation, marketing operations, and events that gets smarter and stronger every quarter. You'll set the strategic plan, develop talent, and hold a high bar for output, accountability and continuous improvement.
Pipeline from the accounts that matter most. You'll oversee demand generation across paid, organic, email, and content syndication. Working closely with Sales, you'll build account-based programs and own events end-to-end - from major industry conferences to our invite-only Patient Innovators Summit. Success is measured in pipeline impact, not vanity metrics.
A measurement engine that connects marketing to revenue. You'll own the attribution framework and the reporting infrastructure behind it, and partner with Sales on lead scoring, routing, handoffs, and SLAs. You have a test & learn mindset with clear goals and success metrics for experiments. And you'll use AI where it actually saves the team time, in planning, personalization, and reporting.
What Makes You Successful
- 8+ years in B2B marketing with a focus on demand generation, ideally at an enterprise SaaS company with long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
- 3+ years leading marketing teams. You've hired well, developed people, and raised the ceiling on what your team could do.
- Hands-on experience building account-based and field programs alongside Sales, with results you can point to.
- Strong marketing operations fluency. You've owned attribution, lead scoring, and routing, and you know where the data breaks.
- Experience running an events program end to end, including flagship industry conferences and owned, invite-only formats.
- An experimenter's mindset. You run structured tests, kill what doesn't work fast, and scale what does.
- You already use AI tools in your own work and have opinions on where they actually help marketing teams.
- Clear, direct communication with Sales leadership and executives, including when the numbers aren't good.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and building systems from scratch at an early-stage company.
Bonus points if:
- You've marketed to pharma, biopharma, or life sciences buyers, including brand, patient services, and market access teams.
- You've worked with HubSpot, Salesforce, or ABM platforms like 6sense or Demandbase.
- You've scaled a marketing function at a high-growth health tech company.
Benefits:
- 100% paid employee health benefit options (including medical, dental, and vision)
- 401(k) with employer funded match
- Unlimited Vacation
- Commuter Benefits
- Paid parental leave
- Catered lunch on Fridays
- Wellness stipend
The annual salary range for the target level for this role is $180,000 - $210,000 + equity + benefits, including medical, dental, and vision. Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, interview performance, and internal equity.
