Position Overview

The Project Manager, Professional Development, will drive the project planning needs of the Teaching Strategies PD Offering, including in program PD, the PD Teacher Membership, the PD Teacher Membership Plus, and the PD Coach Membership, and will partner with the PD content delivery team to guide the successful delivery of cross-functional projects. This role has the overall responsibility for the successful initiation, coordination, execution, monitoring, and closure of assigned projects for all of the PD teams. This position is the bridge between all aspects of Professional Development delivery ensuring collaboration and on time quality execution.- Oversee the project planning and successful cross-functional execution of PD Delivery initiatives ensuring smooth and effective workflows and meeting established deadlines

- Work closely with the PD Leaders to develop project timelines and production calendars based on the product roadmap and PI planning

- Work closely with all PD Leaders to develop and maintain processes to ensure consistent programming operations

- Manage information and distribute meeting notes with actionable items

- Stay close to incoming RFPs and triage new PD requests considered for inclusion in official responses based on product roadmap commitments and PI planning.

- Organize and distribute data to inform PD Priorities

- Collaborate and interface with various team members on the Professional Development team and throughout the company to define unique scope, goals, and deliverables of project

- Facilitate strong communication within the team; work with sub-team leads to identify and delegate tasks to appropriate team members and ensure all tasks are successfully completed

- Ensure a robust process of notification, documentation, and escalation is in place to report on both successes and risks along the lifecycle of projects

- Develop new and innovative ways to delegate, track, and report on projects

- Work in support of building a culture of growth, satisfaction, high performance, and positive relations for all project teams

- Develop strong, cross-departmental working relationships

- Challenge the status quo, champion new initiatives, and act as a catalyst for change that drives continuous improvement in business performance and project management

Qualifications:- Familiarity with all of Teaching Strategies' solutions

- 2 years of related project management experience

- Experience with Asana or a similar project management software

- Proven administrative and organizational skills

- Proven skill in Project Management and ability to multi- task on a variety of projects in a fast-paced environment

- Inspires a shared vision

- Possess a strong ability to translate chaotic information into plan of action

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)

- Ability to partner and communicate effectively across different business teams and levels

- Ability to delegate tasks

- Excellent time management skills, punctual, and a strong ability to prioritize with a strong attention to detail

- Adaptable, committed, aware, and drives the Teaching Strategies mission

- Excellent presentation skills; ability to build and deliver engaging presentations

- Ability to thrive in fast pace, goal-oriented environments

- Proactive and driven individual

- Bachelor’s degree required, Masters strongly preferred
