JUNIOR DATA ANALYST
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for a Junior Data Analyst to join a Securities Settlement team within the banking and financial operations domain. In this role, you will support settlement activities related to securities transactions, ensuring operational accuracy, timely execution, reconciliation processes, and effective coordination with internal stakeholders and external custodians. You will contribute to risk mitigation, operational excellence, and the smooth execution of post-trade activities in international markets.
What You Will Do on a Daily Basis
- Monitor and ensure the successful settlement of securities transactions and related products.
- Perform cash and position reconciliations across internal systems and local custodians.
- Follow up on client instructions in international markets until final settlement.
- Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks and settlement discrepancies.
- Manage stock forecasting activities, including cross-border operations and fail coverage borrow processes.
- Maintain and update reference data in coordination with relevant teams.
- Respond to operational queries and stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure procedures, checklists, and operational documentation remain up to date.
- Contribute to the reduction of settlement costs and operational risks.
- Escalate issues when appropriate and support the overall success of the settlement function.

Your Main Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Up to 2 years of experience in Banking Operations, Financial Operations, Securities Settlement, or related areas.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Understanding of reconciliation processes and financial market operations is highly valued.
- Fluent English (minimum C1 level).
