SYPAQ is currently looking for an Associate Systems Analyst to join our team in either QLD, ACT, VIC or SA supporting a Federal Government client. This long-term opportunity offers multiple extension options and a Hybrid working environment.
Working from the client site in your capital city the Systems Analyst will have the following key duties and responsibilities;
• Perform analysis and evaluation of business processes and requirements
• Support the creation and implementation of solutions to meet business needs
• Support the creation and maintenance of solution documents
• Provide support to daily operations and monitor performance of business solutions
• Adhere to delivery and support methodologies and contribute ideas for improvement
• Perform technical application assessments considering risks and benefits
• Escalate issues as required and suggest alternative approaches and solutions
• Assist with cost analysis activities as required
• Support the life cycle of changes and improvements to systems
• Provide training, guidance and support for new staff where required
• Conduct testing activities such as test coverage reviews, formal or informal test execution and test planning
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues, solve problems and ensure effective and timely implementation of projects
• Undertake project quality management tasks such as peer and quality reviews of specifications and design documents
• Prepare correspondence such as reports and technical documentation for review by senior staff

About you
• Demonstrated experience in requirements definition and management
• Demonstrated experience in design of moderately complex software applications or components
• Australian Citizen with the ability to hold and maintain Australian Defence Security Clearance Baseline minimum
