What You'll Do

As a Curbside Collections Driver, you'll safely operate a residential recycling collection truck while delivering exceptional service to our customers. You'll play a key role in helping us achieve our waste-reduction and resource-recovery goals.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate a residential recycling collection vehicle on assigned routes

- Complete daily collection routes efficiently and accurately

- Respond to missed pickups and additional service requests

- Utilize onboard route management technology to identify and report service issues

- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

- Report maintenance concerns, mechanical issues, leaks, or safety hazards promptly

- Maintain the cleanliness and overall condition of assigned vehicles

- Communicate effectively with dispatch and fellow drivers

- Tag carts according to service requirements and contract guidelines

- Return carts upright, undamaged, and in their original position after service

- Follow all safety procedures and DOT regulations

- Support team operations with additional duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

- Valid CDL Class B License with Air Brake Endorsement

- Current DOT Medical Certificate

- Safe driving record and demonstrated commitment to safety

- Ability to operate a residential collection vehicle safely and efficiently

- Reliable transportation to and from work

Physical Requirements

This is an active, hands-on position requiring the ability to:

- Lift and move up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the workday

- Perform physical labor in all weather conditions

- Move recycling carts during service

- Sit, stand, walk, bend, squat, push, pull, and climb for extended periods

DOT Requirements

This is a DOT-regulated position.

Employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of:

- DOT-compliant drug and alcohol screening

- Safety and driving history review

- Verification of driver qualifications

- Valid DOT Medical Certificate
