ABOUT THE ROLE
Join the platform engineering team at an AI-powered finance automation company. You will build foundational systems that support product development across the organization, helping turn complex finance workflows into reliable software.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and own platform systems for agent frameworks, orchestration, verification, observability, and developer tooling.
- Design data infrastructure to ingest, normalize, and reconcile information from financial and business systems.
- Work directly with customers and finance leaders to understand workflows and develop reusable platform solutions.
- Make architectural decisions in ambiguous environments, identify bottlenecks, and deliver full-stack work when needed.
- Lead cross-functional engineering projects that improve the capabilities of the broader team.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Four to twelve years of backend or platform engineering experience, primarily with Python.
- Deep expertise in distributed systems and data infrastructure, with experience building foundational systems that scale across teams.
- Proficiency with TypeScript and React for full-stack development, plus experience with AWS.
- Fluency with AI-assisted coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or similar.
- Experience delivering high-impact, cross-functional projects in production and communicating technical solutions directly with customers.
- Strong computer science fundamentals and experience in a high-growth technology company, startup, or quantitative firm.
- Fintech, accounting, ERP, payments, ledger, enterprise integration, or financial data pipeline experience is valuable.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary: $180,000 to $270,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
