Your roleAs Head of Cloud Foundation & Operation, you lead the organisation, people and capabilities within the area, while driving the transformation agenda and ensuring alignment with Saab's business and technology priorities. Your mission is to establish and evolve Saab's cloud platform. You will drive the adoption of cloud, platform engineering, automation and AI-driven operations across Saab.
You will build the capabilities, operating model and ways of working needed to deliver cloud services at scale. At the same time, you will ensure secure, resilient and efficient cloud operations in a complex and security-conscious environment.
You will be part of the Modern Infrastructure management team. You will work closely with business stakeholders, technology leaders, vendors and partners to align cloud strategy, technology investments and operational delivery. The role requires some travel to meet with your teams and business stakeholders.
In this role, you will
- Lead, develop and engage employees and leaders within the area
- Lead the development of Saab's cloud platform and cloud operations capabilities
- Define and drive the strategy and roadmap for cloud services across Saab
- Drive the adoption of cloud platforms, platform engineering and automation
- Enable AI-driven operations and operational excellence
- Ensure secure, resilient and reliable cloud operations
- Drive global cloud service delivery through local and regional teams

Your profileWe are looking for an experienced leader with a strong combination of people leadership, business understanding and technology insight.
You have experience leading teams and delivering results in complex technology environments. You are comfortable driving transformation, operational excellence and continuous improvement while collaborating across organisational boundaries.
You are an experienced technology leader with a passion for cloud platforms, automation and AI. You understand how modern cloud capabilities create business value while maintaining security, resilience and operational stability.
You are a people-oriented leader who creates engagement, develops others and fosters high-performing teams. At the same time, you combine strategic thinking with a strong delivery focus and a passion for modern technology and transformation.
Key qualifications and experience
- Academic degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience
- Strong people leadership and talent development skills
- Experience defining and evolving cloud platforms, cloud operations or cloud service capabilities
- Experience leading cloud transformation, platform modernisation or large-scale infrastructure transformation initiatives
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms, platform engineering, cloud operations, automation and modern infrastructure services
- Experience leveraging automation, AI-driven operations or related technologies to improve service delivery and operational efficiency
- Proven experience managing operational delivery and service performance
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience from large, complex and global organisations
- Experience from the defence industry is considered an advantage
- Fluency in both Swedish and English, both written and spoken
