The RoleAs our client base in the US grows, we are looking for a Strategic Account Manager to own and protect relationships with some of our most important clients. You will be the trusted partner to senior stakeholders at banks, asset managers, and institutional investors. You will make sure they get lasting value from Cardo AI and that their relationship with us grows over time. This role is about preserving ARR, protecting accounts, and turning strong relationships into long-term partnerships. This is an on-site role based in our New York office.

What You Will Do- Own a portfolio of strategic accounts and act as the primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders.

- Preserve and grow ARR by driving renewals, reducing churn risk, and finding opportunities for expansion within existing accounts.

- Protect accounts by spotting risks early, including low adoption, stakeholder changes, and competitive threats, and building clear plans to address them.

- Build and run strategic account plans that tie Cardo AI's platform to each client's business goals and success metrics.

- Lead executive business reviews that show measurable value, ROI, and a clear path forward.

- Develop deep, multi-threaded relationships across client organizations, from operational users to C-level decision makers.

- Work closely with Product, Customer Success, Implementation, and Data teams to resolve escalations and deliver on client commitments.

- Bring client feedback back into the business to help shape the product roadmap and improve the client experience.

- Lead commercial negotiations for renewals and upsells, balancing client satisfaction with long-term account health.

- Keep accurate forecasting, pipeline, and account health reporting in the CRM.

What You Bring- 7+ years of experience in strategic account management, client relationship management, or enterprise sales, ideally in B2B SaaS or fintech.

- A proven track record of preserving and growing ARR across a portfolio of high-value enterprise accounts.

- Experience managing relationships with financial institutions such as banks, asset managers, private credit funds, or institutional investors.

- Solid understanding of financial markets. Familiarity with private credit, structured finance, or asset-based finance is a strong plus.

- Strong commercial skills, with experience leading complex renewals and negotiations.

- Ability to build trust with senior executives and handle difficult conversations with confidence.

- A data-driven approach to account health, retention metrics, and forecasting.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.

- Comfort working on-site in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

- Bonus: experience with financial data platforms, portfolio management tools, or AI-driven software products.

Compensation & Benefits- Competitive salary and performance-based bonus.

- Stock option plan.

- Regular team events and annual retreats.

- Referral bonus program.

- Opportunities for career growth within a fast-scaling fintech innovator.

- A collaborative, innovative, and entrepreneurial culture that values creativity, initiative, and impact.
