Student Tier 1 Support Specialist

Exodigo · Tel Aviv, Israel · onsite

Exodigo is the leading underground mapping solution for non-intrusive discovery. Our platforms combine multi-sensor fusion, 3D imaging, and AI technologies to create complete, accurate underground maps that enable confident decision-making for customers across the built world. We transform the project lifecycle for our customers, who include key community stakeholders in the utilities, transportation and government sectors.

We are experiencing sky-rocketing growth and closed a historically large $96M Series B round in July of 2025.

Job descriptionAbout the role

Exodigo maps the underground with AI-driven sensing, and our field teams across the United States rely on that technology every day. We are building a follow-the-sun support team so that a US technician always has an expert to turn to, and we are looking for two students in Israel to take the night shifts for the US West Coast.

As a Tier 1 Support Specialist you are the first point of contact for our field crews during your shift. You will diagnose and resolve issues with sensors, data synchronization, user access and field applications, and escalate complex cases to our engineering teams with clear, complete information. You start each shift with a structured handover from our US support engineer and close it with a handover to our Israel support engineer, so the crews experience one continuous team.

What you will do

- Own the support channel for US field crews during your shift and respond to every new request within

- Run first-line diagnostics: sensor and device checks, data-sync and upload issues, credential and login blocks, field-app problems

- Resolve recurring issues using runbooks and past resolutions; escalate genuine defects to Tier 2/3 with logs, device IDs and steps already tried

- Keep every case updated so colleagues in the US and Israel always see its current status

- Complete a structured handover at the end of each shift so the next engineer starts with a clear picture

- Improve our runbooks and knowledge base by documenting new fixes, so recurring issues are resolved faster over time

- Work as a pair with the second student, covering for each other when needed, and take part in weekly team syncs.

RequirementsRequirements

- Second- or third-year student in Computer Science, Software or Electrical Engineering, Information Systems or similar, with at least two years left in your degre

- Fluent written and spoken English; you will support American field technicians in real time

- Comfortable with the basics of networking, operating systems, log files and web or mobile apps; curious about hardware and sensors

- Calm, structured and clear under time pressure, and able to say "I don't know yet, here is what I am doing"

- Able to commit to a fixed schedule of three night shifts a week, including one weekend night.

- Available for the full three-week onboarding, part of it during Israel daytime.

Nice to have

- Prior help desk, support or IT experience, including military technical roles

- Familiarity with Slack, PagerDuty, Jira or a ticketing tool, and with Python or shell scripting

- Interest in geospatial, sensors or field robotics.
