Robotic Software Engineer Perception

You will develop, integrate, and deploy AI and machine-learning sensor algorithms across autonomous vehicle platforms. You will build software to control sensors, deploy solutions to embedded Linux devices, analyze field-test simulations, collaborate on integration, and work with customers during demonstrations.
Responsibilities- Develop and integrate AI and machine-learning algorithms for perception autonomy
- Create software that autonomously controls sensors
- Deploy containerized solutions to embedded Linux devices
- Collaborate with sensor, tracking, and autonomy engineers on platform deployment
- Support customer use cases and technical triage during field events
- Document technical work and communicate progress to customers
- Develop simulation tooling for field-test analysis
- Implement integration improvements from simulation analysis and customer feedback
Requirements- Master's degree, PhD, or 5+ years of relevant sensor-algorithm, hardware, and HIL integration experience
- Experience with multiple sensor modalities and sensor physics
- Experience training and deploying machine-learning algorithms using Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, ONNX, or C++
- Knowledge of Kalman filters and sensor fusion
- Experience with Linux and Docker
- Experience with remote software development and large datasets
- Willingness to travel 10–20%
- U.S. citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance
