Port Logistics Customer Service Officer

Our customer is hiring for the following role:
Job PurposeTo provide professional customer service and coordinate daily logistics activities related to bonded warehousing, container handling, cargo storage, and customs clearance, ensuring efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the main point of contact for customers regarding shipments, cargo storage, container movements, and logistics services.
- Coordinate with Operations, Warehouse, Manifest, and Customs Clearance teams to ensure timely cargo handling and delivery.
- Monitor inbound and outbound shipments and provide customers with accurate status updates.
- Handle customer inquiries, service requests, complaints, and operational issues professionally.
- Coordinate documentation for cargo receiving, releasing, storage, and customs-related processes.
- Follow up on shipment delays, operational discrepancies, and pending customer requirements.
- Maintain accurate customer records and update relevant information in the company's ERP system.
- Coordinate with Finance and Commercial departments on customer invoices, service charges, and related inquiries.
- Prepare customer service reports and monitor service performance to identify improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and applicable port and bonded-zone regulations.
