As the founder and pioneer of the budget design concept, we are successfully expanding in the metropolises of Europe and beyond. Become part of our team and develop Motel One with us.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced F&B Supervisor to join our team at Motel One Glasgow. Working across our bar and breakfast operation, you’ll help lead the team, keep service running smoothly and make sure every guest enjoys a great experience.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced supervisor with bar or breakfast experience who enjoys taking responsibility, supporting their colleagues and leading by example in a busy hotel environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Work with the F&B Manager to supervise the day-to-day running of our bar and breakfast service, ensuring everything runs smoothly, even during our busiest periods.

- Support, motivate and develop the team, helping everyone deliver great service and feel confident in their roles.

- Create a welcoming atmosphere in the Motel One Lounge, delivering our “One Smile” service concept and making every guest feel valued.

- Lead by example, staying hands-on and supporting the team wherever needed.

- Learn from and work with the F&B Manager to monitor stock, ordering and costs, ensuring we work efficiently without compromising on quality.

- Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, health and safety across the department.

- Support staff rotas, holiday planning and shift organisation to ensure we have the right people in place.

- Listen to guest feedback and look for ways to improve our service and offering.

- Work closely with the wider hotel team to deliver a consistently great guest experience.

- Build a positive team environment where people work together, take pride in what they do and enjoy delivering great hospitality.

About You

- You have previous experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor, ideally in a bar, restaurant, breakfast operation or hotel environment.

- You’re a positive, hands-on leader who enjoys supporting a team and keeping things running smoothly in a busy environment.

- You’re confident taking responsibility, making decisions and leading by example, even when things get hectic.

- You enjoy coaching and supporting others, helping the team build their skills and deliver great service.

- You understand the importance of food safety, hygiene and health and safety standards.

- You’re a great communicator who puts the guest experience first and can juggle competing priorities without losing sight of the details.

- You take pride in high standards, have a flexible approach and are happy to roll up your sleeves when needed.

- Experience with stock control, ordering, rotas or cost management would be an advantage.

If you’re ready to take the next step in your hospitality career, enjoy working with people and want to be part of a team that takes pride in what it does, we’d love to hear from you!
