Facilities & Capital Projects Manager

What You'll Do:
- Oversee facilities operations, property maintenance, repairs, and capital improvements.
- Manage construction and renovation projects from planning through completion.
- Develop project budgets, schedules, scopes, and contractor agreements.
- Supervise maintenance personnel, vendors, and external contractors.
- Oversee preventive maintenance for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, roofing, and other building systems.
- Coordinate property inspections, permits, safety programs, and regulatory compliance.
- Support real estate development, property acquisitions, and affordable housing initiatives.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic facilities and development priorities.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in facilities management, construction management, property operations, or capital projects.
- Experience supervising employees, contractors, or service providers.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance operations, and construction practices.
- Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules, vendors, and contracts.
- Familiarity with building codes, OSHA requirements, and safety regulations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel between local properties and project sites.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Facilities Management, Business, or a related field; equivalent experience or technical training considered.
- Experience with affordable housing, real estate development, or nonprofit/community development projects.
- Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.
- Relevant facilities, construction, or project management certifications.
