ABOUT THE ROLE
Join an early-stage AI company building tools for procurement and supply chain operations. You will work directly with manufacturing customers to scope and deploy AI-powered workflows, while helping shape how the company delivers reliable customer solutions.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build relationships with customer IT, supply chain, and procurement teams to identify and scope new workflows.
- Develop and ship production code in enterprise customer environments, creating solutions that can scale across deployments.
- Lead technical deployments from discovery through go-live and take ownership of operational outcomes.
- Travel to customer facilities, including internationally, to work alongside operators and support adoption.
- Share insights from customer deployments with platform engineers to improve future implementations.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- One to five years of customer-facing full-stack or forward-deployed engineering experience, with the ability to deliver production systems independently.
- Experience gathering technical requirements, translating ambiguous customer needs into specifications, and building and shipping end-to-end workflow or automation deployments.
- Strong skills with Python or a similar language, SQL, APIs, and complex enterprise data; familiarity with ERP systems, large language models, AI agents, or supply chain platforms is useful.
- A track record of owning direct customer deployments and production outcomes, and identifying new use cases within existing accounts.
- Clear communication, sound technical judgment, and comfort working without established playbooks or extensive process.
- Strong computer science fundamentals and interest or experience in manufacturing, industrial, or supply chain environments.
- Ability to travel internationally approximately 15% to 30% of the time, including to Europe and Asia.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Visa sponsorship is not available.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary: $175,000 to $255,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
LOCATION
On-site, five days per week in San Francisco, California, with regular customer travel.
