Peoplebank has exclusively partnered with our client to build their APAC consulting group. US based, they are one of the world’s largest tech consultancies and their end client a multi-billion dollar global brand.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a major network and security transformation programme, overseeing the implementation and onboarding of customer websites onto an Akamai WAF solution.
Key responsibilities/Your Role.
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of network and security implementation projects in accordance with established project management frameworks and governance standards.
- Develop and maintain the overall project plan, migration strategy and onboarding wave plan, ensuring activities, milestones, dependencies and resources are clearly defined.
- Coordinate and schedule onboarding and migration waves with regional site owners across APAC and the US.
- Manage migration schedules and readiness activities, ensuring sites meet all required technical, business and operational readiness milestones.
- Coordinate business, network and security teams to ensure all required network configurations, technical activities, testing and approvals are completed.
- Maintain comprehensive RAID logs, action registers, decision logs, dependency trackers and project documentation.
- Provide clear executive-level dashboards, progress reports and delivery updates, highlighting milestones, risks, issues and key decisions.
What You'll Bring
- 15+ years’ experience in IT, with 8+ years’ experience as a Senior Project Manager delivering complex technology transformation and infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience managing large-scale network, cybersecurity and/or security transformation projects, ideally including WAF, cloud security, network migration or similar technology implementations.
- Demonstrated experience delivering global projects across multiple regions and time zones, working with geographically dispersed technical, business and customer teams.
- Strong experience managing end-to-end project delivery, including planning, governance, migration, change control, risk and issue management, dependencies, testing, acceptance and transition to operations.
- Proven ability to coordinate large-scale migration and onboarding programmes, including developing migration strategies, wave plans, readiness milestones and executive-level schedules.
- Strong stakeholder and client management skills, with the confidence to engage and communicate effectively with senior executives, technical teams, business stakeholders and third-party suppliers.
- Experience managing large, multidisciplinary teams across technical and non-technical functions, with the ability to provide clear direction and maintain delivery momentum.
